Talk about an unforgettable location. Dead Horse Point in Moab Utah gives you real Grand Canyon vibes. If you are looking for an epic location that will stand out against the rest, this would be one to consider. We happened to be shooting at sunrise during a cold front and it was 11 degrees with an ice wind. Josh and Jen were troopers though and braved the bitter temperatures. Sunrise at Dead Horse Point was ideal in my opinion because you are able to capture the light hitting the plateau in the far distance and fracturing the light across the valley. I always wish I could watch the sunrise in slow motion because in a matter of minutes the world looks completely different than before. It’s safe to safe this was a favorite shoot in my books.
