Have you ever felt like a moment you are living in real life is actually just a dream? That’s how I felt this entire shoot. When you can’t tell where the land ends and the sky starts. That is my happy place. This Salt Lake location is slowly winning out as my all time favorite. I am such a sun enthusiast and I love locations where the sun isn’t blocked by trees or buildings because I think it creates such a unique canvas to work with. You can get such creative shots while using the sun as your friend rather than fighting it back and forth. Taylor actually came to me with this idea she wanted to create so sure enough, that same night we headed out to the Great Salt Lake with an air-mattress in hand and sheets in the other. It was such a serene night. I really woke up the next day wondering if it all was just a dream.
