I have lived in Utah most of my life. There is so much variety in landscape everywhere you look here. Sometimes I just stare at the red rock or the salt flats or the massive green mountains and wonder how this could actually happen on earth. How have I gotten so used to seeing the most amazing places in the world everyday for my job? I love to travel and see the world but it is so easy to forget sometimes how amazing my home state actually is. Darlena and Phillip’s Maternity session in Moab was ethereal and dreamy and straight out of a love story. The 100 degree heat didn’t even phase these two who came all the way from Miami Florida to see these red rocks. The drive out to southern Utah is a long one especially when you are just going out and back like I usually do, but every time I make this drive, I am always reminded of how much the world surprises and excites me. As I was driving back in the middle of the night, I kept thinking how lucky I am to do what I love everyday as my career. Moab is worth the drive every time.
